Beatnik by China Glaze was originally released in 2003 with their Hippie Chic collection. This nail polish is absolutely gorgeous. Beatnik is a taupe with silver undertones. Almost reminds me as if Wet N Wild's Nutty Eye Shadow in nail polish form. Beatnik has a smooth application which I wasn't expecting since it was a frosty, metallic nail polish. This nail polish will become opaque in about two coats, but I did three just to be safe. I almost always do three coats of nail polish anyways, unless I am using a glitter or crackle top coat. This is a limited edition nail polish so you won't find it in stores but you should be able to find it on Ebay or other online retailers.
