Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Creme Brulee

Out of all of the Revlon Lip Butters, Creme Brulee is probably my favorite. Creme Brulee is the nude shade in the line. These retail for around $7-8 for 0.09 oz. You can often find them on sale at local drugstores so you may be able to get them for even less. It doesn't have a ton of pigmentation to it so it won't show up opaque but it does add a nice peachy shimmer. It does look like brown in the tube but don't let that scare you away because it is definitely much more sheer once applied. How it looks once applied will depend on the natural pigmentation of your lips. For most people it will just even out the tone of their natural lip color. It is one of those shades that you can throw on without paying a whole lot of attention. The lip butters are very moisturizing and have a shine to them once applied. Creme Brulee is always in my purse because I wear it almost every day.

Revlon Nail Polish in Galaxy

Revlon's nail polish in Galaxy was released with their Just Add Sparkle collection. This line of nail polish was intended to be sold as a duo with a cream color as the base color, but I only picked up the glitter top coat. The accompanying color for Galaxy was Lunar which is a black creme nail polish which I already had from another brand. Galaxy is a clear base with blue and silver specks of glitter and larger holographic pieces. I do like the glitter combination of this nail polish, but it isn't very dense. Galaxy is definitely a polish that you will want to wear as a top coat and definitely not alone. 

Revlon Nail Polish in Naughty

I was so disappointed when I missed out on Revlon's Perplex because it is a close dupe of Chanel's Paradoxal. Naughty is a cheaper alternative to have the same look of Paradoxal. Revlon's Naughty is a grayish purple with a lavender shimmer to it. This nail polish has a good formula and only took me two coats for it to become completely opaque. I still did three though just to be safe. When I used Naughty I also used the Revlon ColorStay base coat and top coat so it lasted over a week without any chipping. It started to fade on the very tips of my nails but that was about it. 

Revlon Top Speed Nail Polish in Peachy

Peachy from Revlon's Top Speed line is just like the name says, a peachy orange. Peachy has a cream finish, with no sort of glitter or shimmer at all. I have heard that this is a possible dupe for Essie's Tarte Deco. You could almost get away with only one coat of Peachy but I used two just to be safe. I can say that this line of nail polishes does dry quickly just like the name says. You wouldn't technically need a top coat with this shade but I still use one anyways just because it will make my manicure last a little longer.

Revlon ColorStay Nail Polish in Coastal Surf

In my eyes, Revlon is known for their ColorStay line. They have everything from foundations to eye liners and even nail polishes. These can be found in most drugstores and retail for around $7-8. Coastal Surf is a medium sky blue with a cream finish. I picked this up with the intention of wearing it for work as our uniforms are blue shirts with black pants. Needless to say this wasn't the right shade of blue but still a gorgeous color. Coastal Surf was perfectly opaque in two coats. You could almost get away with just one coat if you wanted to. As far as the longwearing claim, I can't say much because I switch out my nail polish so often.

Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick in Icy Nude

Icy Nude is one of the newer ColorBurst shades that Revlon has released. It is a warm caramel nude with a subtle silver shimmer. I love the ColorBurst lipsticks and nude lipsticks so I definitely couldn't resist picking this one up. I do have to say that Revlon has definitely stepped up their game with the packaging of this line of lipsticks. On one side its a matte diamond pattern and the other is just a plain shiny plastic. I do like that they have the Revlon name brand imprinted into the lipstick as well, which you normally only see in the higher end lipsticks. I believe that the only actual store you can still get this at is Kmart but you should be able to easily find it online. 

Revlon Fashion's Night Pout ColorBurst Lipstick

Revlon's Fashion's Night Pout was originally released in 2010 as an exclusive to Rag & Bone only on Fashion's Night Out. In 2011 they re-released it, still as a limited edition, at Walgreen's. It might have been available at other drugstores, but I bought mine at Walgreen's. Some people have been comparing it to MAC's Viva Glam Gaga2, but to me it is completely different. It has the same brownish shade to it but it's not as opaque and a little bit lighter. This lipstick is the perfect nude for me and it would go with pretty much any skin tone. Since this was limited edition it is no longer sold in stores, but you might be able to find it online on E-bay or Amazon. As of right now, AllCosmeticsWholesale.com does have it listed for sale but I am not sure how many they have available. 

Revlon Scented Nail Polish in Ocean Breeze

I bought Ocean Breeze when they first launched the scented nail polished so my bottle is the standard Revlon nail polish bottle. It doesn't really matter to me because the polish is the same. I didn't really pick this up for the scent but more so for the color. You can't really tell in the picture but this polish is a gorgeous blue and greenish duo chrome. Revlon was spot on with naming this one after the ocean. As far as the scent it reminds me of a generic air freshener, not that great in my mind. You cannot smell what they smell like until the polish actually dries. I do like the fact that even if you use a top coat you can still smell it. The scent only lasts for a day maybe two at the max. Ocean Breeze is more on the sheer side so it will take about three coats to become completely opaque. 

Revlon Nail Polish in Endless Possibilities

Revlon's Endless Possibilities is a great nude nail polish that would go great with any skin tone. This would be perfect to wear to an interview or to work if you work in a conservative office. Endless Possibilities is a nude with peachy pink undertones. It also has a golden shimmer to it, but once applied to the nails it is barely noticeable. I am sad that the shimmer doesn't transfer, because it would make the nail polish so unique. This nail polish is part of their permanent line and retails for around $4.99, but sometimes even cheaper! 

Revlon Scented Nail Polish in Fig Jam

Revlon has a line of scented nail polish and this is one of two that I own. I picked this one up because of the color, not the scent. Fig Jam just smells really sweet, almost like candy. I was really surprised at these nail polishes because you can still smell them even if you use a top coat. The scent does wear off after about a day or so. Revlon's Fig Jam is the perfect peachy orange with golden yellow micro shimmer. This nail polish only took two coats to get it completely opaque. 

Revlon Nail Polish in Gray Suede

Revlon's nail polish in Gray Suede was originally released with the Daydreamer Collection in 2010 but is now part of their permanent line so you can still purchase this if you want it. Gray Suede is one of those greige (gray-beige) shades that are super popular right now. In the bottle it does look like there would be a slight shimmer to it, but that doesn't really transfer to the nails. Regardless, this is one of my favorite nail polishes. Revlon nail polishes typically retail for around $4.99 at drugstores and Revlon products are frequently on sale.
