China Glaze's Phat Santa was originally released with their 2010 Holiday Collection, 'Tis The Season To Be Naughty and Nice. I wouldn't normally purchase a red polish on its own, but I got one of the trio gift sets. I am glad now that it was in the set because this is a beautiful red shade that I would have otherwise missed out on. I think everyone's collection should include at least one classic red nail polish. This one has more of a blue base or undertone to it and that might be why I like it so much. Phat Santa is considered a cream finish but it almost seems more jelly-like to me. If you want Phat Santa to be fairly opaque you will need two to three coats.
