OPI Nail Polish in My Daddy's The King

OPI's My Daddy's The King was originally released with their Princess Charming collection. It is a limited edition nail polish so it is no longer in stores. I tried to see if it might be available on Ebay or Amazon but I have yet to have any lucky finding one for sale. I received this in a swap and consider myself very lucky. OPI's My Daddy's The King is a very pale peachy pink with a slight shimmer. Don't fret, its not noticeable once your nails actually dry. The formula of this polish is somewhat sheer so you will need three coats. My Daddy's The King is one of those nail polishes that you could wear to an interview or work since it is more toned down.

OPI Melon of Troy

OPI's Melon of Troy was released with the Greek Isles collection so it is limited edition. Melon of Troy is a peachy color that leans more towards the orange side. I guess you could say it almost looks like the color of a ripe cantaloupe. It does have a pearly frost finish so it may come out a little streaky if you aren't careful when applying it. It only took two good coats to become fairly opaque but I applied a third just to be safe. Even though this was limited edition you can still find it at a lot of online stores like Ebay and Amazon.

Sephora by OPI Nail Polish in Looks Like Rain, Dear

I picked up this nail polish sometime around Christmas last year to wear for New Year's Eve and I did. Looks Like Rain, Dear is a metallic opaque gold with tons of chunky iridescent gold. If you just want a sheer coat of glitter and sparkle just do one coat but if you want you can build it up in about two to three coats. Looks Like Rain, Dear was originally released with a holiday collection a couple of years ago but it is now part of the permanent Sephora by OPI line. The Sephora by OPI nail polishes retail for $9.50.

OPI Have A Tempura Tan-Trum

OPI's Have A Tempura Tan-Trum was released in 2005 with their Japan collection. I didn't pick up this nail polish when the collection was released, but I got it a couple years later in a swap. This shade to me looks like a very pale peach with yellow undertones to it. I love the color of this nail polish but I didn't care for the application of it. Have A Tempura Tan-Trum was very streaky and took four coats to get a decent opacity without obvious streaks.  Being this nail polish was limited edition I don't believe you can get it in stores anymore but you should be able to find it on Ebay or maybe Amazon.

OPI Cozu-Melted In The Sun

OPI's Cozu-Melted In The Sun was originally released in the 2006 Mexico Collection. I received this in a swap so I didn't even have to really pay for it. OPI describes Cozu-Melted In The Sun as a shimmery beige pink. I see the shimmery and pink part but not the beige part. To me it is more of a coral or peachy pink with tons of silver micro shimmer than a pinky beige with shimmer. Cozu-Melted In The Sun is a sheer polish so even with three coats you could still see through it. I would suggest layering this nail polish on top of a pink, peach or coral to get optimal opacity. This was obviously a limited edition shade but I believe you can still find it for sale on line at stores like Trans-Design or Amazon.

Confetti Nail Polish in Moonstruck

I recently picked this nail polish up for only $1.99 at my CVS. This is Moonstruck by Confetti which is similar to a lot of the other taupe nail polishes out there but I couldn't resist at only $1.99. I do like that this nail polish has more of a purple undertone to it. This polish only took two coats to become completely opaque and dries fairly fast. To me this looks a lot like You Don't Know Jacques by OPI but I don't own that shade so I couldn't really say. I use a top coat with any polish that I use.

OPI Nail Polish in Designer... De Better!

OPI's Designer...De Better was originally released with their Holiday 2011 Muppets Collection. This was one of the harder polishes to find it, and I actually got it when I was at the nail salon getting my nails done. I don't normally buy polishes from there because they are usually a lot more expensive, but I had to have this polish!! Designer...De Better is a metallic silver base with lots of rose gold flecks. I absolutely love this polish and am so glad that I picked it up. You can get away with two coats, but I used three just to be safe.

OPI Pink Shatter: Pink Of Hearts

OPI launches the limited edition Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts Nail Lacquer to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure® in its promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever. The 2011 Pink of Hearts edition will follow in the footsteps of its namesake 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 Nail Lacquers in raising awareness of breast cancer for the fifth year in a row, during the months of September and October (National Breast Cancer Awareness Month). Unlike previous shade incarnations, this year’s Pink of Hearts Nail Lacquer marks the debut of fan-favorite Shatter coat in OPI’s first pink shade.
“We are continuing to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure in the hopes of increasing breast cancer awareness, while inspiring and empowering women. The organization’s dedication to this cause is unwavering,” remarks Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “OPI is proud to join with Susan G. Komen for the fifth consecutive year to offer Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts. By launching our first-ever Pink Shatter coat, we hope this exciting new textured hue will generate lots of awareness for this cause.”
Each bottle of Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts has a special pink-ribbon tag and pink cap wrap to call attention to breast cancer awareness. OPI will also be making its annual donation of $25,000 to Komen for the Cure. Pink Shatter coat contains no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde, and it also features OPI’s exclusive ProWide Brush for the ultimate in application.
The limited edition Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts will be available throughout the months of September and October 2011 at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for $8.50 ($10.95 CAN) suggested retail for each Nail Lacquer.

Wet N Wild Wild Shine in Sparked

1 Coat
This a super pretty pink glitter with some silver glitter in it as well. There is definitely more pink as you can tell.  This retails for only $0.99!!! How can you go wrong?!? This is a great glitter for underneath crackle polishes, especially black. It would be nice on top of a pink nail polish too. I've even used it to do a "glitter nail" and paint the rest of my nails another color. I can get away with one coat, but I usually do two just so it would be ever more opaque. This is pretty close to OPI Teenage Dream from the Katy Perry collection. I wouldn't call it an exact dupe, but its definitely close.
